Nail trimming is essential for maintaining your dog’s good health. If a dog's nails are allowed to grow too long, they will curl over into a spiral shape; walking will become increasingly painful to the dog as the nails grow out. Uncut nails may curl so far that they pierce the paw pad, leading to infection and debilitating pain for your pet.

Despite its importance, many people can’t or don’t like to trim their dog’s nails. Clipping the nails on a paw sensitive dog can be exasperating or an even dangerous task while holding a dog down for a nail trim can result in injury to the dog, a possible bite incident, or at the very least, increased aggression each time a pedicure needs to be done.
